At Storm Volleyball Club, our coaching staff brings together a powerful combination of experience, innovation, and purpose. Our team includes current and former collegiate athletes, certified referees, and seasoned coaches from youth to high school levels — all unified by a shared mission: to develop confident, adaptable volleyball players through proven, game-based training.
Our coaches don’t just know the game — they know how to teach it. Every member of our staff is trained in the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA), a modern methodology that emphasizes learning through live, competitive scenarios rather than rote repetition. This approach empowers athletes to develop skills in context, preparing them to perform when it counts — not just in practice, but in real match play.
We design practices that go beyond drills. Athletes are challenged to read the game, make decisions, collaborate under pressure, and develop a true understanding of timing, movement, and communication. Our coaches lead with clarity, provide honest feedback, and create an environment where athletes are encouraged to take ownership of their learning.
We hold ourselves to a high standard — not just in terms of volleyball knowledge, but in how we connect with and develop the whole athlete. At Storm, your athlete will be coached by people who care deeply about their growth — as players, teammates, and individuals.
When you train with Storm, you’re not just getting a coach. You’re getting a mentor, a teacher, and a leader who’s committed to your athlete’s long-term development and love of the game.
